MCS constructed fire warehouses at four locations in
Montana for the US Army Corps of Engineers and US Forest
Service. To complete this $1.3-million project, MCS

worked with the client to present options according to budget and location; |

performed as prime contractor for construction oversight, quality control, and safety; |
● |
solicited and hired subcontractors for specialty work; and |
● |
self-performed 60% of all work, including excavation, concrete, framing, siding, roofing, and finishes. |
The project structures were single-story, wood-framed construction, ranging in size from 3,200 to 5,500 sf. The buildings were designed and constructed according to the 2003 International Building Code.
